Description
Calpol Sugar Free Infant Suspension Sachets is an oral paracetamol medicine designed for relief of mild to moderate pain and fever in infants and young children. The product is supplied as strawberry-flavoured sugar-free liquid in single-dose sachets (5 ml each), making dosing convenient and travel-ready.
It is intended for infants and children from 2 months up to 6 years of age (provided they weigh more than 4 kg and were not born prematurely), and is used to relieve pain and fever associated with teething, earache, sore throat, colds and flu, headache, post-immunisation fever, and other common childhood aches and pains.

Directions (How to Use)
Who can use this medicine:
Infants from 2 months of age (weighing over 4 kg and not premature)
Children up to 6 years of age
Do not give to babies younger than 2 months
Preparation:
Massage the sachet before opening to mix the contents thoroughly.
The contents can be given directly from the sachet or measured into an accurate dosing device or syringe.
Dosage guidance:
2–3 months: 2.5 ml; if needed after 4–6 hours, a second 2.5 ml dose may be given (maximum 2 doses in 24 hours).
3–6 months: 2.5 ml up to 4 times a day.
6–24 months: 5 ml up to 4 times a day.
2–4 years: 7.5 ml up to 4 times a day.
4–6 years: 10 ml up to 4 times a day.
Important instructions:
Leave at least 4 hours between doses.
Do not give more than 4 doses in any 24-hour period.
Do not give this medicine for more than 3 days without consulting a doctor or pharmacist.

Most children tolerate paracetamol well at recommended doses, but some may experience:
Allergic reactions such as rash, itching, or swelling
Rare gastrointestinal discomfort or other mild reactions
If any severe or persistent reaction occurs, discontinue use and seek medical advice immediately.
Warnings and Precautions
Do not exceed the stated dose; too much paracetamol can lead to serious liver damage.
Do not give this medicine to babies under 2 months of age.
Do not use this product at the same time as any other containing paracetamol, to avoid accidental overdose.
Before use, seek medical advice if your child has liver or kidney disease or any chronic health condition or is taking other medicines.
If symptoms worsen or do not improve, consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Keep the medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
Store below 25°C and avoid moisture and light exposure.
Do not use after the expiry date printed on the sachet or packaging.
In case of accidental overdose, seek urgent medical attention even if your child appears well because liver damage may be delayed.
