Nurofen Express 400 mg Liquid Capsules is a non-prescription pain relief medicine containing ibuprofen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It is formulated in a liquid capsule to allow faster release and absorption of ibuprofen in the body.
This medicine is used for the short-term relief of mild to moderate pain and fever, including headaches, migraine pain, dental pain, period pain, muscular and back pain, rheumatic pain, neuralgia, and symptoms associated with colds and flu.
Suitable for adults, the elderly, and adolescents aged 12 years and over.

Directions (How to Use)
Who can take this medicine:
Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over
Not suitable for children under 12 years
Dosage:
Take 1 capsule with water, up to three times daily as required
Leave at least 4 hours between doses
Maximum dose: 3 capsules (1200 mg ibuprofen) in any 24-hour period
Duration of use:
Adults: consult a doctor if symptoms persist or worsen after 10 days
Adolescents (12–18 years): consult a doctor if symptoms persist or worsen after 3 days
Always use the lowest effective dose for the shortest time necessary to relieve symptoms.

Stomach pain, indigestion, nausea
Headache or dizziness
Serious side effects (stop use and seek medical help immediately):
Signs of stomach or intestinal bleeding (e.g. black stools, vomiting blood)
Severe allergic reactions (swelling of the face, lips or throat, difficulty breathing, skin rash)
Severe skin reactions

Do not take this medicine if you:
Are allergic to ibuprofen, aspirin, or other NSAIDs
Have or have had stomach ulcers, bleeding, or perforation
Have severe heart, liver or kidney problems
Speak to a doctor or pharmacist before use if you:
Have asthma, heart problems, high blood pressure, kidney or liver disease
Are elderly
Are taking other medicines, including blood thinners or steroids
This medicine may mask symptoms of infection, such as fever and pain.
Pregnancy and Breastfeeding
Do not take during the last 3 months of pregnancy
During the first 6 months of pregnancy, use only if advised by a healthcare professional
Seek medical advice before use if breastfeeding

This medicine contains sorbitol (a source of fructose) and Ponceau 4R (E124), which may cause allergic reactions in some people
Each capsule contains potassium, which may be relevant for patients with kidney problems or on controlled potassium diets
Avoid taking this product with other medicines containing ibuprofen or other NSAIDs
